What Is Harshvardhan Rane Exploring In The Mountains?
Harshvardhan Rane, who was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar’s Taish, heads to the mountains. Here's why
Actor Harshvardhan Rane, who is known for his role in Radhika and Vinay Sapru tragic love story Sanam Teri Kasam and more recently Bejoy Nambiar’s Taish, believes in method acting. To get into the skin of his character Pali for Taish, Harshvardhan locked himself up in the bungalow and stayed disconnected from the world for days. He even learnt Punjabi dialect for the role which he also used for his part in JP Dutta’s Paltan.
Now, to prepare for director Nilesh Sahay’s upcoming action film, the actor is leaving no stone unturned. Harshvardhan has travelled to the mountains and is working rigorously on his physique to get the right look for his role. The high altitude makes things tougher, which is what the actor is enjoying.
A source says, “Harshvardhan has been sweating it out for hours and is dedicatedly working towards acquiring the right look for his part in the action film.” In fact, Harshvardhan has also been sharing video clips of his workout sessions on social media. In one of the videos, where he’s seen doing push-ups against a picturesque backdrop, he wrote, “My director Nilesh Sahay has sent me to the mountains to train for my first action film.”
Meanwhile, Harshvardhan will next be seen opposite Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey in Vinil Mathew’s Haseen Dillruba. The film is looking for an early July opening on Netflix, although the official release date is yet to be announced. Today, the actor posted about the same, saying, “Very excited about JUNE as it will be all about #HaseenDillruba on Netflix in a month or two (official date yet to be announced). My first film with #Netflix. I don’t know how I even got selected for this film as it has two of the best actors in the country!”
